Top Miami Architects
Located on the southern tip of Florida, Miami is a vibrant city with a wide range of architectural styles. While it's most commonly known for its Art Deco buildings, it also boasts a wide variety of contemporary design. Many Top Miami architects have contributed to the success of the city.
Rene Gonzalez is a well-known architect in Miami. His firm has worked on many projects throughout the city. In addition to designing beautiful spaces, the firm has completed numerous renovations of existing structures. Some of his recent projects include the Standard Hotel on Venetian Isles and the Berkowitz Contemporary Foundation Art Museum.
Kobi Karp is a prominent Miami-based designer and architect. He has worked on projects across the world, including Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., and Cape Town. The firm's work has earned him recognition from the American Institute of Architects and Build Magazine.
Rene Gonzalez and his team have created an extensive list of award-winning designs. Swedroe Architecture has established a strong reputation in Miami since 1960. With their team of talented professionals, they have designed multi-family and private residences in the area. A few of their recent projects have been featured in the Washington Post and the Miami Herald.
Sebastian Eilert has been practicing in the Miami area since 1998. He is a LEED-accredited architect, and his design approach is holistic and forward-thinking. Throughout his career, he has earned several awards, most notably the AIA Miami Firm of the Year. Originally from Hamburg, Germany, Eilert studied architecture at the University of Miami. During his college years, he worked as an intern at Gene Leedy's Central Florida office.
Max Strang is another notable Floridian. He is a two-time winner of the AIA Young Architect of the Year award. His design approach reflects the Sarasota School of Architecture. Although Strang is primarily known for his waterfront homes, he has recently completed a condo in Coconut Grove. This home features reinforced floor-to-to-to-glass windows, which aren't susceptible to hurricanes.
