Slot Album Review
Russian rock band Slot has been active since 2002, when the group was formed by Igor Lobanov and Denis Khromykh. Their debut album, "SLOT 1," was released in 2003, selling more than ten thousand copies around the world. The band also released several remix albums and mini-albums and contributed to the soundtracks of several films. In addition to their studio albums, Slot has released 20 singles and an album of remixes.
In 2006, Slot released their second studio album, 2 Wars (2 voiny). This album's success was fueled by the video for the song of the same name, which became an instant hit. In the first twelve weeks, the album sold more than eight thousand copies. The album was nominated for four RAMP Awards and won Hit of the Year. It was re-released in 2007 in a revised version.
